About Wollongonghub
Why we built a productivity platform, not a feature catalogue.
Wollongonghub started with one observation: Australian teams were paying for complexity, not capability.
What Wollongonghub does, and who it serves
Wollongonghub is a SaaS platform that consolidates operational dashboards, third-party integrations, and data analytics into a single, coherent workspace. It serves small-to-medium businesses and distributed teams across Australia — primarily in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria — that have outgrown spreadsheets and single-purpose tools but are not yet resourced to build bespoke internal software. The platform is sector-agnostic: current customers include professional services firms, e-commerce operators, healthcare administration teams, and technology companies scaling through Series A and B rounds. The common thread is a team of five to two hundred people that needs structured, reliable data flow without hiring a dedicated data engineering function to manage it.
How the team works, and what that means for you
The Wollongonghub team is based in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, with remote engineers in Brisbane and Sydney. The company was founded in 2021 by a group of former enterprise software consultants who had spent a collective twelve years watching organisations pay six-figure consulting fees to integrate tools that should have connected natively. That background shapes how the platform is built: every integration is tested against real production data before it ships, and every feature request is evaluated against a single criterion — does this measurably reduce the time a team member spends on coordination rather than contribution? The support function operates on the same philosophy. You will not receive a canned FAQ response; you will receive a reply from someone who can read your account telemetry and diagnose the actual issue. It is worth being direct about what the platform does not do: Wollongonghub is not a project management tool, not a CRM, and not a business intelligence platform in the Tableau or Power BI sense. It is the connective layer between those tools — the workspace where their outputs converge, can be compared, and can trigger automated actions. If your organisation needs a replacement for Salesforce or Jira, this is not that product. If you need those tools to talk to each other coherently and surface a unified view of your operations, that is precisely what Wollongonghub is built for.
“I appreciated that the onboarding call was run by someone who had clearly read our intake form and looked at our Xero account structure beforehand. They told us upfront that two of our planned integrations would need custom field mapping, and they booked a follow-up to help us do it. That level of preparation from a SaaS vendor is genuinely rare.”
